Conversations With Catherine Begins!!

I am starting Parenting  classes in the fall and would love to have you provide input into my curriculum since you are the mothers that deal with all the many issues with your children day to day.  Since it is based on the writings of Catherine Booth I am calling this forum, "Conversations with Catherine"

I have always been inspired by the life of Catherine Booth, wife of William Booth, founders of The Salvation Army. They had 8 children, adopted a few others, and managed to launch a now worldwide Christian organization rated the number 1 charity in America. It all began in the mid 1800's, the Victorian age, when a women did not have much impact in society, let alone the ability to become a premier preacher. Women had neither ethical nor legal rights over their property, children, or homes. They were the legal property of their husbands. They were seen and not heard. Catherine's accomplishments can be studied in depth and there are many websites available to save us time and effort...some links are here for you to view...Cant wait to get your input!!
